Werder Bremen eased into the quarter-finals of the Uefa Cup with a 2-0 win over Celta Vigo to progress 3-0 on aggregate.
The German side were in pole position following a 1-0 win in the first leg in Spain last week and second half goals from Hugo Almeida and Clemens Fritz were enough to give Bremen the victory.
Bremen broke the deadlock three minutes into the second half when Almeida headed Kevin Schindler's cross home.
Celta thought they had drew level when Jose Perera netted, but his goal was disallowed for offside.
The Bundesliga outfit made the game safe just past the hour mark when Fritz robbed Nene of possession and slotted his shot into the bottom corner.
Bremen are the second German side to advance to Friday's quarter-final draw joining Bayer Leverkusen in the hat.
