Cadiz have made their sixth signing of the summer by snapping up Eduardo Berizzo on a free transfer.The Argentine defender joins the Primera Liga new boys from Celta Vigo and will bring with him a wealth of experience.
Berizzo has agreed a one-year contract with Cadiz, as he enters the twilight stages of his career.
The 35-year-old has made over 300 appearances in Spain's top flight and will be a key figure for Cadiz.
He has signed a 12-month deal following the completion of a medical, having opted to leave one promoted side for another.
Meanwhile, the club have released midfielder Dani Navarrete - who has subsequently signed for Segunda outfit Hercules - but handed a one-year extension to Argentine star Matias Pavoni.
