The 19-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at Chievo after joining Inter last summer.
However, the hit-man has struggled to break into Luigi del Neri's first team and thus could now head to Spain in a bid to find regular action.
"I'd be honoured to be able to play at Celta," the teenager stated.
"My agents are defining the details of this possible transfer."
Celta are desperate to bring in a new striker with Savo Milosevic the only fully fit front man in their depleted ranks.
The Galicians are looking to pull away from the relegation zone in La Primera and currently sit 17th after a miserable first half of the season.
