CHILEAN defender Pablo Contreras is not concentrating on his impending return to Celta Vigo but is focused on the season's conclusion with Sporting Lisbon.
Contreras is on a season-long loan deal with the Portuguese club and has impressed in Sporting's back-line.
His displays have prompted Celta to retain his services for next season, rather than ship him out again.
Sporting did have the option to sign the international stopper for é¼6 million (£4 million) but lack the resources to secure the deal.
That has further persuaded Celta to include Contreras in their plans for the 2003/04 campaign, at the end of which his contract expires.
Contreras also spent last term away from Balaidos and while he expects to return to Galicia, he has enjoyed his time in the Portuguese capital.
"It is most probable (that I will return) although my objective is to finish in Lisbon without any complications," said Contreras.
"I am very happy in Portugal where I have found myself with football again. The moments have been excellent."
