Bilbao coach wants to finish job against United

Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelo Bielsa hailed his side's win over Manchester United but insisted it would mean nothing unless they progress into the quarter-finals. Bilbao out-played United for large portions of the first-leg of their Europa League round of 16 clash at Old Trafford and came away with a 3-2 success. Bielsa was delighted with the victory, but warned against getting carried away. "This game will only have real value next Thursday, and we need to try and repeat it next week," said the South American. Bielsa warned against the danger that United still possess going into the second leg back in Spain. "An indication of the type of opponent we are facing, is that they needed very few chances to convert two goals," he added.

Unforgettable

Fernando Llorente, who scored Bilbao's first goal, hailed his side's performance. "It was an unforgettable game, and the game we all wanted to play," he said. "We played really well, we controlled the game so it was shame how it ended but they are dangerous." Llorente remains confident that Bilbao can finish the job off in Spain. "Sam Mames will be like England with 40,000 behind us, you will see that," he said.
