No offers for Mallorca frontman

Aritz Aduriz's agent claims his client has received no offers during the January transfer window. The Real Mallorca striker is reported to be a target for a number of clubs, including Premier League outfit Wigan. His Spanish employers have admitted that tentative approaches have been made, but insist no formal bids have been lodged. That stance has now been echoed by Aduriz's representative, Antxo Mugica, who is adamant that no-one from Wigan, or any other club, has been in touch. "No club has asked me about a transfer in the last few weeks," he said. "Honestly, I do not know why the Wigan rumour persists." Mallorca, who continue to struggle financially, have revealed that they would be willing to do business for the right price, with a €6million (£5.3m) price tag believed to have been placed on Aduriz's head.
