Milan's Ricardo Oliveira has returned to Brazil to help police find his sister's kidnappers.

Maria de Lourdes Silva de Oliveira is believed to have been taken from her house by two men, as her husband and son were locked in another room.

The 26-year-old former Real Betis striker has therefore returned to Sao Paulo with the Rossoneri's blessing after the kidnappers made contact with him in Italy.

It is the latest in a spate of abductions in Brazil since November 2004 when Real Madrid's Robinho had to pay $80,000 (£40,000) to get his mother set free after being held captive for five weeks.
