Real Betis defender Oscar Lopez is to join Primera new-boys Gimnastic de Tarragona on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old left-back joined Betis on a four-year deal from Barcelona earlier this summer.
He played in Betis' first game of the new season last weekend - the 2-1 defeat at Valencia - but is now being farmed out to Nastic following the arrival of Brazilian star Jorge Wagner.
Having also brought in Enrique Romero this summer, Betis boss Javier Irureta clearly feels he is well stocked for options on the left and has allowed Lopez to move on in order to secure regular football.
The loan, which runs until June 30, 2007, does not include the option of a permanent switch.
