Star itching for Betis move

Malaga midfielder Miguel Angel has spelt out his desperation to sign for Real Betis.Real Betis president Manuel Ruiz de Lopera has revealed that Malaga midfielder Miguel Angel is 'mad' to join Los Verdiblancos.
Betis have been chasing the Catalan midfielder all summer but have yet to strike a deal with their Primera counterparts.
Malaga were initially thought to be demanding é¼1.35 million for the 26-year-old, but are now holding out for é¼2 million.
Betis have tabled a final offer of é¼1.8 million and are not willing to budge from that mark, but a deal is expected to be finalised ahead of the new season.
The player himself is desperate to clinch a move to the Estadio Ruiz de Lopera and remains hopeful the two sides can reach agreement.
Ruiz de Lopera revealed the Malaga star was willing to miss out on his cut of the transfer fee to smooth over the deal, before adding: "He is mad to sign for us."
Meanwhile, the Seville-based outfit have parted company with defender Mingo.
The left-sided full back, full name Carles Domingo Pladevall, has had his contract - which ran until 2007 - annulled and will now look for a new club.
Fellow left-back Jaime Perez, who joined Betis from Las Palmas last January, has rejoined his former club on a season-long loan.
