Osasuna goalkeeper Ricardo Sanzol will be out of action for around six weeks with a thigh injury.

The custodian sustained the problem in last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid.

That was Sanzol's first start for some twelve games, but the unfortunate keeper now looks set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

Sanzol has been ordered to rest the injury completely for the next week, whereupon he will begin a recovery programme that is expected to last five or six weeks.

The Navarra-based outfit will also be without the services of striker Pierre Webo for the next two or three weeks as he too picked up a knock in the reverse to Real.

Webo was forced from the field nine minutes into the second period, after he had scored in the first half, following a heavy blow to his left leg.
