Mallorca have agreed a contract extension with Italian midfielder Cristiano Doni.
The 33-year-old joined The Islanders on a short-term deal during last season's January transfer window after cancelling his contract with Sampdoria.
He made a total of 24 appearances for Mallorca in the second half of the campaign, chipping in with two goals, and played his part as the club hauled themselves clear of relegation.
His performances convinced the Islanders to offer him an extended deal and both parties have now reached agreement.
Doni will sign an initial one-year contract, although there is the option to extend it for a further 12 months should the club desire.
