Internacional have made it clear they intend to keep Leandro Damiao until at least the end of 2012 after revealing that Tottenham and Paris St Germain are the only two clubs to have made offers for the striker.
Damiao has been linked with a number of clubs in Europe after impressing in Brazilian football and also making the step up to international level.
He is regarded as an exciting prospect and, at the age of 22, recently declared that it could be the right time for him to leave South America.
Italy has been mooted as a possible destination but Internacional president Giovanni Luigi says there have been no formal bids from Serie A.
Luigi says Tottenham and PSG have submitted proposals but he is determined to keep hold of Damiao.
He also insists there have been no talks with AC Milan or Villarreal regarding possible deals to bring Alexandre Pato or Nilmar back to Brazil.
"For Damiao we never received official offers from Italy, only informal contacts, no proposals on paper," Luigi told calciomercato.it.
"The only bids were received from Tottenham and PSG, but we rejected them because our intention and hope is to keep the player at least until December 2012.
"Pato? We never talked about him, or even about Nilmar."
