JAVIER FRANCISCO FARINOS has expressed his delight at finally making his Villarreal bow in the 4-3 victory over Atletico Madrid.
The former Valencia man, who is on loan from Italian giants Internazionale, was glad to play almost a full match after spending so much time on the substitutes' bench at the Giuseppe Meazza.
"I am content because it was my first game and we got a very important win," explained Farinos.
"I was desperate to return to play and give my all to my new team.
"It was a game of nerves and goals. A good game in phases.
"But the important thing is the points and now it is necessary to try and maintain that form.
"In the end I was tired and for that reason the substitution did me good."
