Villarreal want Farinos

VILLARREAL want to end Francisco Farinos's Internazionale misery and sign the Spaniard on loan in January.

The struggling Liga outfit are keen to bolster their squad when the transfer window reopens in the New Year and have trained their sights on Farinos.

The 24-year-old is disenchanted with his lack of regular first team football at Giuseppe Meazza and would jump at the chance of a move.

Though he is reticent about permanently quitting Inter, Farinos is certain to be tempted by a temporary return to his homeland.

Villarreal president Fernando Roig confirmed he was weighing up the possibility of luring Farinos back to Spain.

"Farinos is a great player and he's surely the player we are looking for," affirmed Roig.

"We knew him from when he was playing with Valencia before the transfer to Inter. We are thinking of a possible loan solution."

A loan deal would be beneficial to all parties as Villarreal would land the midfielder they crave, Farinos would gain first team action and upon his return to Serie A, Inter could welcome back a rejuvenated player.
