Deportivo La Coruna have reportedly set their sights on French goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.

The Under-21 international is currently at Le Havre but Depor officials are confident of luring him to La Liga.

Scouts went to check up on the youngster at the recent European youth Championships and were favourably impressed by his assured displays.

With Jose Molina (pictured) out of contract and Dani Mallo also expected to leave Depor before the new season starts, the Spanish side are in desperate need of a new shot-stopper.

Molina is tipped to seal a switch to The Premiership, while Mallo has been linked with a move to Portugal.
