Real Betis are to attempt to bring in some new attacking flair in the winter transfer market after their front-line has been struck by injuries in recent weeks.

The Spanish side are expected to make moves for Deportivo La Coruna's Victor and Porto's Helder Postiga (pictured) in a desperate attempt to boost numbers.

With Victor's contract expiring in the summer, Betis see the transfer window as the perfect time to entice the Spaniard to the club.

The player's agent has confirmed the interest, saying "that [the interest] is there from the summer" and, with the attacking midfielder unsure of his future at Deportivo, Betis may be a possibility.

Meanwhile, Postiga has confirmed he wants to leave Porto after their coach Co Adriaanse told the forward that he is not in his plans.

The former Spurs striker has had offers from France and Belgium, but would prefer a move to Spain in a bid to gain a place in the Portugal World Cup squad.

"Spain is my dream, I want to fight for my place in the World Cup squad," Postiga admitted.
