Espanyol have still not reached an agreement with goalkeeper Carlos Kameni regarding a new contract at the Liga side.

The Cameroon international sees his current deal expire in June 2007 and the Spanish outfit are hoping to secure the future of the talented keeper.

Espanyol have tabled a new three-year deal but Kameni rejected it on the basis that it did not match his financial expectations.

Strong rumours in Barcelona are linking the 22-year-old with a move to England, but Espanyol are yet to receive a formal offer for their keeper.

However, the Spanish side have tied one of their custodians down to a new deal, with director general Pedro Tomas confirming that Gorka Iraizos has committed his future to the club.

The keeper has signed on until 2010 after enjoying a productive season, and has shunned interest from Athletic Bilbao.
