Recreativo de Huelva have been dealt a double defensive blow with the news that both Iago Bouzon and Pablo Amo will be on the sidelines until the New Year.
Both players were injured in last weekend's 4-2 defeat at Athletic Bilbao and face spells in the treatment room.
Amo looks likely to be out for around three weeks having damaged a calf muscle.
He was actually replaced by Bouzon having been forced off with the injury at San Mames, but his replacement also picked up a knock.
Bouzon could be out of action for up to six weeks having torn his right thigh muscle leaving Recre short of options at the back.
However, their problems have been somewhat assuaged by the fact that Cesar Arzo - a defender on loan for the season from Villarreal - has had his appeal against a fifth yellow card of the season upheld meaning he will not have to serve a suspension.
