Newly-promoted Recreativo de Huelva have clinched a deal to take Villarreal starlet Cesar Arzo on a season-long loan next term.
The 20-year-old is a defensive midfielder by trade, but can also operate in the centre of defence and is held in high esteem at Villarreal.
He demonstrated his class by stepping in at short notice to play at centre back in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Arsenal at Highbury last season and did a very commendable job against Thierry Henry.
Villarreal believe he has a big future, but having made a raft of signings for the new season are prepared to farm him out so he can get regular football next term.
Arzo formed part of the Spanish Under-17 side that finished as runners-up in the World Youth Championship in 2003 where he starred alongside Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.
He becomes Recre's first signing since they clinched promotion back to Spain's top-flight.
