Gabi has insisted that he wants to stay with Atletico Madrid for sporting reasons after several of the Spanish champions' players were linked with summer moves.
Atletico's captain is reportedly being watched by a number of teams and he is not surprised by the interest from Europe's major clubs in his side's players.
Diego Costa has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, while Manchester United and Barcelona are reported to be interested in Joao Miranda, while Bayern Munich are tracking Diego Godin.
"My only plan is to stay at this club," Gabi told AS, reflecting on a season that saw Atleti almost complete a historic domestic and European double.
"It is normal that everyone wants our players, but they will have to ask the Atleti players if they really want to leave.
"One could improve things economically by going, but on the sporting side there are few teams that could better this."
Atletico stunned the football world by breaking the hegemony in La Liga by winning the title ahead of Barcelona and Real Madrid, but Gabi acknowledged losing the Champions League final to their city rivals still hurts.
He added: "We were all unhappy with the way [the final against Real Madrid] went because it was so cruel. At the same time though, we are happy. The players battled until they almost dropped."
