Atletico Madrid duo Simao Sabrosa and Jose Antonio Reyes have told skysports.com that Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero can fire them to Europa League glory.
Simao and Reyes are likely to be named on the Atletico wings when they take on Fulham on Wednesday night and both midfielders reckon the Spanish outfit are the favourites to win the trophy in Hamburg.
"Line by line and men by men I think that Atletico is superior but I respect Fulham and it will be very hard," said Simao, who has identified the Cottagers' direct style as their main weapon in the Nordbank Arena showdown.
"It's certain that Bobby Zamora is in a positive moment for Fulham but, without arrogance, today few clubs in Europe have an attack of the quality of Kun (Aguero) and Diego (Forlan). There is the difference for the final."
Reyes also paid tribute to the Cottagers by saying they have become a stronger side from the one the Spanish ace played against during his time with Arsenal but he still believes Atletico have the necessary firepower to win their second European honour.
"I remember that during my stay in Arsenal, Fulham was not so dangerous," said the 26-year-old. "Now the Londoners have increased their quality and it will be a final with much fight.
"If we analyse the histories, Atletico appear favourites but in Hamburg the final will be very open and anything could come to pass. But we have confidence in our power in attack to win the title.
"To fail against Fulham would be a big blow but we are not thinking about that."
Atletico also have the Copa Del Rey final to contest in seven days and Reyes added: "In the summer nobody would have thought this at the end of season for Atletico but now it is a reality. (To reach) two finals in a week is incredible."
