Internazionale are favourites to secure the signature of Chile star David Pizarro.
The Udinese ace has already asked for a transfer and Pizarro looks set to depart in the coming weeks.
Atletico Madrid have been strongly linked, but Inter look set to land him according to his agent Fernando Hidalgo.
"David will return to Udine on Sunday," Fernando Hidalgo said. "He has nothing against the club but he just wants a move away.
"His name has been linked with great teams for the last two years but no real bids were made at the time.
"Things have changed now though. There has still been no official offer but negotiations have certainly started.
"At this moment in time Inter's interest is the most advanced, especially because (boss Roberto) Mancini is a big fan of the player. He already tried to sign him while at Lazio."
