Getafe finalised a double swoop for defender Ruben Pulido and midfielder Gabi on transfer deadline day.
Pulido arrives from near neighbours Rayo Vallecano after the two clubs finally concurred on a fee for the 25-year-old.
Getafe had agreed a deal with the player some weeks ago, but negotiations reached an impasse over his price tag.
However, a fee in the region of é¼300,000 was settled upon and the full back has now joined Getafe for his second spell at the club, having previously spent a season on loan in 2001-02.
Joining Pulido is Atletico Madrid starlet Gabi - full name Gabriel Fernandez Arenas - who has agreed a season-long loan deal.
The midfielder is a Spain Under-21 international and is highly regarded at the Vicente Calderon.
Gabi was set to be joined at Getafe by Atletico team-mate Javier Arizmendi, but the striker opted to join Racing Santander instead.
