Ricardo Costa has told Sky Sports that Valencia are travelling to South Wales looking to gain some revenge.
Swansea inflicted a 3-0 defeat on Valencia in Spain at the start of their Europa League campaign.
Valencia have since bounced back with three straights wins but they are looking to gain some revenge for their loss earlier in the season.
"The 3-0 was very hard, and we now have the desire to put things right," Costa told Sky Sports.
"Swansea was not a surprise to me, they have a big squad with players of a good level - you can see the Spanish influence and that is noticeable in their performances.
"Normally a match like this would be for the next round, but we are determined to finish the group as winners.
"But this will not be an easy match in Wales, because it is always tough against Premier League clubs, plus it will be in a stadium with real atmosphere."
Costa says that Valencia are more than aware of Swansea's qualities.
"Laudrup is a good coach and he has demonstrated his quality in a hard competition such as La Liga," he said.
"Michu is a striker you have to stop, or he will create problems.
"For us it will take a big effort because for them they will be motivated to play against a Spanish club."
