Valencia winger Vicente has lifted the lid on his frustration after a campaign blighted by injury.
The gifted left-footer has suffered no fewer than three separate injuries this term which have restricted him to just 12 league starts.
Having just returned to training following the latest, a torn thigh muscle, the 25-year-old is determined to now aid his side's push for domestic and European honours.
However, he admits the past few months have been a difficult time for him to come through.
"The injuries have left me feeling really desperate because I have not been able to play with calmness this season," he told TV 9. "It has been an incredible situation.
"I have really suffered, but that is football.
"Players only want to play and now I just want to try and help the team in the key moment of the season."
Valencia have been drawn with Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals and, following their win over Serie A trailblazers Internazionale, Vicente is confident the Spaniards can claim another big scalp.
"This is a difficult draw for both teams, but Valencia have beaten Inter and now we do not fear anyone."
