Stuttgart goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand could be nearing a move to Spanish giants Valencia, according to reports in Germany.
The Germany number two custodian looks set to leave the Bundesliga high-flyers after rejecting the offer of a new contract with the Swabians on Tuesday.
With his current deal set to expire in the summer, German regional television station SWR claim Hildebrand has agreed a three-year contract to join Los Che from next season.
It remains to be seen if the 27-year-old will make the move to Spain, with speculation rife in the German media as to who might succeed Hildebrand at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion.
Hannover keeper Robert Enke and Nurnberg shot-stopper Rafael Schafer are thought to be top candidates to join Armin Veh's side for next season.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart have sent out-of-favour midfielder Silvio Meissner on loan to Kaiserslautern.
The 33-year-old has failed to hold down a regular first-team berth under Veh this term and has now been given the chance of match practice by helping The Red Devils in their promotion push from Bundesliga Zwei.
