Valencia striker David Villa is reported to be on Juventus' shopping list ahead of an anticipated return to Italy's top table.

Pavel Nedved's double on Saturday earned The Old Lady a 2-0 win over Pescara to see the club in third place in Serie B and coach Didier Deschamps is believed to be already considering prospective targets.

Villa is rumoured to top that list, with suggestions Juve's sporting director Alessio Secco and Che counterpart Amedeo Carboni have already held discussions about a possible swap deal.

The Spain international has an uneasy relationship with coach Quique Sanchez Flores and the Liga club may view a deal involving Marcelo Zalayeta as favourable.

Another proposed target for Deschamps is AEK Athens midfielder Perparim Hetemaj.

Juve scouts have been dispatched to run the rule over the 20-year-old in the team's recent UEFA Champions League clashes with Anderlecht and Lille.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Del Piero will undergo a scan in the next few days to determine the extent of an injury picked up at the weekend.

Del Piero left the pitch against Pescara in the first half complaining of a sprain, but Deschamps is hopeful the injury is not too serious.
