Levante's Juan Luis Mora was furious after Valencia won the derby encounter 2-1.

A controversial goal from Mista was enough to decide the game, but Mora is furious with the result.

The stunned goalkeeper has insisted that the ball never crossed the line after Mista headed goalwards in the 59th minute.

"I am sure that if it had happened at the other end then it would not have been given as a goal," Mora explained.

"I have not seen the pictures on television, but I do not need to.

"I was on top of the ball and I know that it did not cross the line. I also think it was impossible for the referee to see it.

"It is a very difficult to decision to take because, despite thousands of pictures of it, you cannot say clearly if it crossed or not.

"I think it is not possible to make a decision like this so carelessly. You cannot play like this because that has thrown away all our hard work."

Ruben Baraja had opened the scoring for Valencia in the Mestalla before Mista doubled the lead. Edwin Congo netted for the visitors.
