Malaga look set to complete a double raid on Valencia with Salva and Jorge Lopez both tipped to complete loan moves in the coming days.

Malaga's interest in Salva is well-documented as they are desperate to land a proven goal-scorer ahead of the forthcoming Primera campaign.

The Spanish international hit-man spent last term on loan at Malaga and netted 19 goals, but was keen to try and establish himself at Valencia this season.

However, Claudio Ranieri has informed Salva he does not feature in his first-team plans and is ready to let him move on.

Another player who has been told he is surplus to requirements at the Mestalla is Lopez, who only joined the club from Villarreal last summer.

Valencia shelled out around ‚é¼4 million for the midfielder, but the recent arrival of Stefano Fiore has put paid to his first-team opportunities.

Ranieri is keen to trim his squad and is ready to offer Malaga the chance to sign both Lopez and Salva, but both will be loan deals as Malaga do not have the funds to complete permanent transfers.
