Andres D'Alessandro believes that Real Zaragoza will benefit if both he and Pablo Aimar play in the same team, despite the sceptics that claim it would unbalance the side.
The Argentinian is confident that he and his compatriot can compliment each other, with D'Alessandro willing to move out wide.
After both players were substituted during the 1-1 draw at Celta Vigo last weekend, pundits suggested that only one of the two can be used at any one given time.
"Pablo and I can play together because we are compatible, even if people have questioned that sometimes," D'Alessandro said.
"The team can benefit from the fact that I can play on the right and Pablo on the left or with one us in the middle.
"When I was in Germany with Wolfsburg, I played through the middle and when I was in England (at Portsmouth) I played on both sides, so when I came here, I was used to that.
"Although it is not my strongest point, I can help at the back and win possession, as can Aimar."
