Ukrainian outfit Dnipropetrovsk have one foot in the next round after an impressive 2-1 away win at Utrecht.
They followed up their victory over Club Brugge with another sound performance in Holland.
Ruslan Rotan (pictured) opened the scoring with 12 minutes on the clock, and it was a lead they were to defend soundly.
Indeed, they maintained the advantage until seven minutes from time, when Dmitri Semochko grabbed a second to all but kill the contest.
Darl Douglas did pull one back for the hosts with two minutes remaining, but it proved too little too late.
Real Zaragoza lost ground after slipping to a single-goal defeat to Austria Vienna who opened their campaign with an important win.
The Spaniards will feel hard done by not to have taken something from their trip, and were undone by a goal from Radoslav Gilewicz.
Javi Moreno and David Villa both missed chances to put the Primera outfit ahead, and it was to prove costly when Gilewicz produced a piece of individual skill to settle matters 15 minutes from time.
