Carlo Ancelotti said he has not held talks with Real Madrid as speculation mounts over his future at the club.

Ancelotti is expected to depart this summer after failing to retain the Champions League or win the La Liga title.

The Real Madrid manager says he is calm about the situation and insists he still has a good relationship with club president Florentino Perez.

However, Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague believes Real Madrid will begin talks with Rafael Benitez next week over the Spaniard returning as manager at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid face Getafe on Saturday in what could be Ancelotti’s last game in charge.

“I haven’t talked with the club about my future," said Ancelotti.

“I’m not upset by the speculations of possible new coaches for Real Madrid, this is normal in the football world. I have always had a great relationship with the president and it will continue that way.

“Everybody can have their opinion and it’s a good thing that this happens and also normal in the football world. The club has told me that we will talk when the season finishes.”
