Louis van Gaal has firmly told potential suitors that the time to sign Franck Ribery has passed, with the Frenchman now a key part of his plans.
The Bayern Munich head coach highlighted that he had built his system for the upcoming season around the 26-year-old.
Van Gaal stated that the winger should now concentrate on pre-season training with the Bundesliga giants after a summer of persistent speculation.
The former Marseille man has been pursued by Real Madrid, amongst others, for the past few months but Bayern have managed to successfully keep hold of their star despite Ribery said to favour a big money switch to the Bernabeu.
"The time limit to sign Ribery has now finished," Van Gaal said.
"I have designed a diamond shaped system around him now, especially for him."
