Real Madrid were knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Real Betis on Thursday evening.
Real were firm favourites to progress after playing out a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Seville.
Robinho put Real ahead after just five minutes, but Betis were on level terms just before the break as Dani (pictured) headed home after good work from Francisco Maldonado.
Real pushed forward in the second half looking for the winner, but they could not find another way through and Betis progressed on goal difference.
Betis join Real Zaragoza, Real Valladolid, Sevilla, Deportivo La Coruna, Barcelona, Getafe and Osasuna in the last eight of the competition.
Last season's winners Espanyol are already out.
