Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has labelled Atletico Madrid ace Fernando Torres a 'cheat' for his part in Sergio Ramos' sending off on Sunday.
The Galacticos were forced to play nearly a third of the Madrid derby a man light after Ramos was sent off for collecting his second yellow card.
Ramos went to close down Torres shortly after the hour mark and the Spain international went to the ground clutching his face despite minimal contact between the pair.
Capello believes Ramos did nothing wrong and wants Torres punished for conning the referee into thinking an offence had taken place.
"Torres is a cheat and he must be punished," explained Capello. "He has deceived the referee and it is not fair."
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has leapt to Torres' defence, claiming the incident is a common occurrence in Spain.
"Torres is a clean and noble player," said Cerezo. "Capello has failed to give a fair explanation.
"For me, this type of play is very common and the referee was correct. It was just.
"Torres is one of the most fouled players in La Liga."
