Gimnastic de Tarragona have sealed the permanent signing of Real Madrid striker Javier Portillo.
The hit-man has penned a two-year deal with Nastic who are preparing for their first top-flight campaign in 56 years.
Real have reserved the right to buy back the 24-year-old at the end of each of the next two seasons and will also receive a percentage of the fee if Nastic sell him on.
Portillo came through the youth ranks at Real but failed to cement a first-team berth, finding the likes of Ronaldo and Raul ahead of him.
He has spent the past couple of campaigns on loan away from the Santiago Bernabeu at Fiorentina and Club Brugge, but has now opted to sever his ties with Real completely in search of a fresh challenge.
