Sven Goran Eriksson's agent Athole Still says his client will not be distracted by the interest shown in him from Real Madrid.
Eriksson is entering the final stages of his five-and-a-half year career as England head coach, with the Swedish tactician looking to lead The Three Lions to World Cup glory in Germany.
With Eriksson set to move on after the finals, his future has been the subject of debate and with Real in the middle of a presidential election campaign, his name has been strongly mentioned with the Santiago Bernabeu hot-seat.
Real presidential candidate Arturo Baldasano declared on Tuesday that if he was elected on July 2, Eriksson would become the club's new coach.
Still, however, played down Real's links with Eriksson, claiming his client will make no decisions until after the World Cup.
"We have had so many approaches from people associated with or purporting to be associated with candidates in the Real elections," Still told the Daily Mirror.
"I have said the same thing to all of them. Sven would be honoured to coach Real Madrid, but all that will have to wait until after the World Cup because right now his focus is on England."
Baldasano's plans for Real include trying to sign the Spain World Cup duo of Arsenal's Jose Antonio Reyes and Real Betis's Joaquin this summer.
Despite the interest, former Sevilla man Reyes stressed his focus is currently on Spain's campaign in Germany.
"I'm proud the candidates are saying that I interest them, but now I'm thinking of the national team," Reyes said.
