Speculation is rife about the future of Iker Casillas after the goalkeeper stated he only had a 60 percent chance of playing for Real Madrid next season.
The 24-year-old has been one of Real's most consistent performers in recent seasons, but, with his contract expiring in the summer, there is sure to be interest from clubs across the continent.
"Things are the same as they were seven months ago," said Casillas, regarding a contract renewal.
"I want to stay here and I'm not concerned that I will be able to talk to other clubs in January. I would say there is a 60 percent chance of me staying."
Premiership sides Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly at the front of the queue should Real decide to let him go.
Real have made a stuttering start to their Liga campaign, losing five of their 12 games so far, the latest an embarrassingly one-sided 3-0 defeat at home to Barcelona.
"The players are all hurt by what happened, but the league has only just started and we can't think that all is lost. It was a hard blow, but maybe it will serve as a turning point in the season," Casillas added.
