Inter seal Solari deal

Internazionale have clinched a deal to sign Santiago Solari from Real Madrid.
The Argentine winger will join the Italians on a three-year deal and is expected to put pen-to-paper on his contract when he returns from his holidays on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Negotiations between the two clubs reached a successful conclusion on Monday night.
The transfer fee for the 28-year-old is thought only to be in the region of é¼1 million due to the fact that the South American had a clause inserted in his latest Real contract, signed in January, which allowed him to move on cheaply if he was not playing regularly.
Solari, who joined Real from city rivals Atletico in the summer of 2000, will remain on the same financial terms at Inter as he was in the Spanish capital.
It had been expected that Inter would complete a double swoop on Real by also capturing Solari's compatriot Walter Samuel, but that deal has encountered difficulties.
The Serie A side were hoping to take the central defender on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent transfer, but difficulties have arisen over the proposed method of payment for the deal.
Real have now given Inter a deadline to comply with their wishes or have threatened to cancel the deal.
