Real Madrid midfielder Esteben Cambiasso admits he is interested in a possible move to Italy's Serie A.

The Argentinian is out of contract with the Spanish champions in June and looks unlikely to sign fresh terms at El Santiago Bernabeu.

"Italy? It's a beautiful league, still suitable for Argentinians," he told Corriere dello Sport.

"Everything will depend on the next few months - from my performance on the pitch and from the possibilities Real will give me to show them."

An inability to parade his talents in the first team has frustrated Cambiasso, but he has still attracted interest from Juventus and several Premiership clubs.

"June 30 is so far away," he added.

"We are in the race to win everything - Champions League, Spanish Cup and the title.

"I want a lot to win all these things so do Ronaldo, Raul and Zindedine Zidane.

"The only thing I can confirm is that I'm close to having my contract expire and that the club haven't made me any offers for its renewal."
