Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos has revealed he would like to play on until he is 40-years-old.
The 30-year-old still has a lot of ambitions despite winning almost every honour with club and country.
Carlos, who is known as "The Cannonball Kid", would like the chance to try and help Brazil win the football in the Olympics.
"I wish to play until 40, I feel capable of that. Before that, I want to help Brazil to get the only title we haven't achieved yet - the gold medal at the Olympics. I will ask coach Ricardo Gomes for a chance."
The brilliant Brazilian would also like be awarded the World Footballer of the Year award before hanging up his boots.
The former Internazionale has been continually overlooked for the prize despite being tipped to win it on many occasions.
"I perfectly know it's difficult to achieve it, as Fifa rarely looks to the back when they choose the candidates for the award. However, I have five more years to run after it," added Roberto Carlos.
Roberto Carlos is currently in talks with Real Madrid over a new deal and Real general manager Jorge Valdano is hoping that discussions go better than with other players.
"I only hope they will be lighter than the ones we had with other players," said Valdano.
