AFTER giving their youngsters a chance, Real Madrid are now desperately trying to re-negotiate the contracts of Francisco Pavon and Raul Bravo.

Unsurprisingly Real want to increase the buy-out clauses of their youngsters, with a new level of around £15 million quoted in Spain.  The duo would also get pay increases to around £350,000 a year.

Both Pavon and Raul Bravo currently have clauses set at just £3.6 million and the Spanish side have called in both players' agents for talks.

Oscar Minambres, Valdo and Ruben are believed to be next for contract negotiations.

Meanwhile, sources in Spain continue to speculate over the arrival of Patrick Vieira and Andrei Shevchenko in Madrid.

Both players have been linked to the capital side and it would appear that Florentino Perez will maintain the pressure on Arsenal and Milan in an attempt to force their hand.
