African stars delighted with emphatic win

Sevilla duo Didier Zokora and Romaric have expressed their delight at their side's 4-1 demolition of Rangers. The Ivorian pair played in the UEFA Champions League game at Ibrox, with second-half goals from Abdoulay Konko, Adriano, Luis Fabiano and Fredi Kanoute sinking the Gers. Sevilla go four points clear at the top of Group G and former Spurs midfielder Zokora was pleased with the performance. "We won away from home, that is very good," he told skysports.com. "I think we played well and many teams will take us seriously after that game. "We showed we have the quality to be an outsider in this competition as well as in the league." Zokora's team-mate Romaric, who came on in the second half after a spell on the sidelines with injury, was also happy with the result. "It is good to win away from home in Europe so I am very happy for the team," he said. "I am tired after a long lay off but I will be fine in a couple of weeks or so."
