Steaua Bucharest could not halt Sevilla's defence of the Uefa Cup as the Spanish side won 3-0 on aggregate in the last 32 of the competition.
Most of the Spanish side's work was done in the first leg as two away goals put them well on their way to progressing.
Alexander Kerzhakov scored the only goal deep into stoppage time at the end of the first half.
Daniel Alves was the provider and his cross was headed into the bottom corner by the Russian striker.
The outcome never looked in doubt after Kerzhakov's goal as Sevilla set up a last 16 tie with Shakhtar Donetsk.
