Juan Arango insists he wants to put the incident with Javi Navarro behind him.Mallorca midfielder Juan Arango insists he wants to put the recent incident with Sevilla defender Javi Navarro to bed having now returned to training.
The Venezuelan was left with a fractured cheekbone and had to spend three days in hospital after being on the end of an elbow from Navarro in a league match last month.
After widespread condemnation, Navarro received a five-game ban for the incident which he is still serving.
The Sevilla stopper has continued to protest his innocence and his club have even launched a legal challenge to clear his name.
However, Arango insists he now wants to move on and bears no grudge towards Navarro.
"The whole matter with Navarro is now forgotten for me," he stated.
"I have no problems with Navarro, I have no rancour towards him."
The Islanders star claims he is focusing fully on his return to action and hopes to be available for the home clash with Espanyol on May 1.
"I expect to be completely fit by next week," he continued.
"I am not scared about playing and have more experience now, but I don't want to repeat the experience."
