Internazionale have turned to Spain in their attempt to build a squad capable of competing for domestic honours.

Inter are unbeaten in Serie A thus far this season, but a series of draws have left them well off the pace set by league-leaders Juventus.

Coach Roberto Mancini has urged his board to bring in reinforcements, and it appears that the club has responded by sending scouts to watch several Spanish-based players - with Portugal star Jorge Andrade top of their list.

Andrade has been watched several times by Lazio whilst playing for Deportivo, and early indications are that the defender has impressed.

The Roman club are also believed to be looking at Sevilla's young defender Sergio Ramos and Brazilian star Julio Baptista.
