Luis Suarez in Uruguay squad for friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Oman

Luis Suarez has been included in a provisional Uruguay squad for next month's friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Oman.

The controversial Barcelona forward is currently serving a four-month ban, plus nine competitive internationals, for the infamous World Cup incident where he bit Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.

However, he can play in friendlies after the Court of Arbitration for Sport removed a clause which banned him from "any football activity" during his four-month suspension.

After being left out of this month's friendlies against Japan and South Korea, Suarez has been included by Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez in a 29-man squad for the games away to Saudi Arabia on October 10 and Oman three days later.

Suarez, who moved from Liverpool to Barcelona in July, scored his first goals in a Barcelona shirt on Wednesday when he netted twice in Barcelona B’s 6-0 friendly victory over an Indonesian U19 select XI at the club’s training ground.
