Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado has revealed that he is set for talks with the Serie A club over a new contract.
The Colombian was subject to constant speculation during the summer transfer window, with Barcelona and Manchester United both credited with an interest.
Cuadrado was a key figure in Colombia’s 2014 World Cup campaign, helping guide his side to the quarter-finals before their defeat to Brazil.
After his impressive performances sparked interest from other clubs, the 26-year-old says he is happy in Florence and believes that a contract extension could be finalised in the coming weeks.
"The summer market? I was calm about it. I feel good with my teammates,” he said.
“The contract renewal? I don't like talking about this now. There is my agent for this.
“There will be a meeting with the club and I think we will find an agreement.”
