Thiago Alcantara's agent has stressed that the youngster's future lies at Barcelona.
Thiago is highly rated at Barca, and his displays for Spain Under 21s at the European Championship have caught the eye.
There have, meanwhile, been suggestions he could be used as a make-weight in a potential deal for Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.
But Alcantara's agent and father, Mazinho, has insisted the 20-year-old midfielder is committed to Barca.
He told Onda Cero: "His future is at Barcelona. The boy does not want to leave the club or be involved in a deal with Cesc Fabregas.
"Nobody at the club has told us that Thiago will not be here next season. It is his ambition to be successful at Barcelona.
"We are calm because the player has a deal at the club until June 2014.
"I do not wish to comment on a team involving Cesc and Thiago. That is nothing to do with me."
