Barcelona duo Pedro and Andres Iniesta were delighted to overcome arch-rivals Real Madrid to reach the UEFA Champions League final. Pedro scored Barcelona's goal in the 1-1 draw with Real at Camp Nou on Tuesday night as Barca progressed 3-1 on aggregate. The Spain international was delighted to reach the final at Wembley on 28th May and was impressed at how his side went about their business. "It feels great to reach a final against a great team like Madrid. The team has played a great match," Pedro told Spanish television. "They have great players and we knew it would be difficult but we are in the final."

Pedro also singled out Iniesta for special praise after his sublime pass for his goal in the second half. "It's a great satisfaction to achieve that goal. Andres gave me a great pass," he added. "The game was very complicated but we managed to achieve it with the support from the fans." Iniesta admitted the win was special having come against such a side as Real Madrid. "To have won a game against a team so strong is a reason to celebrate," said Iniesta. Looking ahead to the final, he added: "Hopefully we can play well and win another Champions League."
